Cultivating Global Citizens Among Middle School Students

With our unique programs, students

  • connect with global partners

  • create meaningful insights

  • communicate across the globe, synchronously and asynchronously

  • collaborate with international peers

  • think critically about own and other cultures

  • become global citizens

“Our students really enjoyed the experience. They walked away with the notion that they have more in common than they thought. There are all those stereotypes about people from around the world. They realized that other children their age still have similar experiences.”

—Jessica Austin, Principal, Lakewood Montessori School

All cultures are worthy and worth understanding

It is easy to dismiss or ridicule that which is different. Global Connect allows students to see the commonalities between their culture and their partner’s while encouraging them to appreciate the beauty of the diversity in the world.

Culturally literate leaders will be more likely to solve international problems

Many of today’s biggest issues are international in scope and require global cooperation. Such  cooperation depends on global citizens who both embrace the common humanity of all people and appreciate that different perspectives enhance problem solving. Global Connect develops those global citizens.

Let’s learn together.
